5 Ways to Dress Up Activewear

Many women have began wearing their activewear as actual outfits and looks. In recent years, activewear has become a key piece in making a fashion statement when you’re headed to brunch with your besties or seeing your favorite musician live. Gone are the days of wearing your sports bra and workout tights at the gym or in fitness classes. With so many different pieces of activewear being produced in the fashion world many fashionistas have been able to create fabulous looks that turn a basic gym look into a baddie look. We had the opportunity to collaborate with Sarahi, a fashion expert and therapist of Dallas to show us five different ways to dress up your activewear.

Sarahi shared the following about her passion for fashion:

I have always loved being able to express myself through something as simple as the way I dress which is where my love for putting looks together came from.

I spent many years being a personal stylist and have always had so much fun taking a few basic items and making them look like something totally new.
I’ve got a HUGE love of athletic shoes and leggings! I love how I can take a black pair of jeans and pair them with a cute athletic top, a pair of Nikes, and a blazer or cardigan and make it work or gym appropriate. In my opinion, the key piece to a sporty chic wardrobe is to have a good pair of athletic shoes. These can be worn to the gym or at work. Also, a pair of athletic wedge sneakers are necessary as they’ll dress up any pair of leggings and top!
